Alan Isaac

Alan Isaac enjoys a variety of governance roles in a number of New Zealand businesses, from sporting bodies to commercial and Crown entities. With a strong background in risk minimisation and assurance, Alan is a former national chairman of KPMG and is the current vice president of the International Cricket Council.
He is also the chairman of the Fire Service's Audit Committee, the Ministry of Economic Development's Audit and Risk Committee, Wakefield Health and the Department of Corrections Audit and Risk Committee. He is a director of Aka Investments Ltd, Opus International Consultants Ltd, Opus Partners Trust Ltd, New Zealand Vault Ltd, Murray Capital General Partner Ltd, Rakaia Finance Ltd, Grocer Properties Ltd and Isaac Advisory Services Ltd.
Alan serves as a board member on the Ministry of Social Development's Audit Committee and the AMP Capital Property Trust Governance Committee. He is trustee of the New Zealand Red Cross Foundation and the First Foundation, and he is the chairman of the Performance Subcommittee of WCC Controlled Organisations.
In addition, Alan is a member of the Royal Wellington Golf Club and is president of the Johnsonville Cricket Club. He is a consultant to McGarth Nicol & Partners and SPARC.
