After serving 12 years in the RNZAF, Grant went on to spend nearly 30 years working in sport management, including 10 years as Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club Manager, three years as the CEO of the NZ Squash Racquets Association and 11 years as CEO of the Tauranga Golf Club. A skilled sailor, squash player and windsurfer, Grant also enjoys touring the country on his motorbike.
